Atypical Neurotypicals

Neu-ro-typ-i-cal: not autistic or on the spectrum,

Au-tis-tic: someone on the autism spectrum,

A-typ-i-cal: unusual, different.

Neurotypical behaviors can be a little confusing for people who are on the spectrum and even those who aren’t. So let’s look to the animal kingdom so that we can understand what neurotypicals do and remember that they’re individuals too.
