When world-famous photographer, Clay Arnold, purchases a rare antique camera that once belonged to telegraph inventor, Samuel Morse, he finds the first of several Morse-coded clues that supposedly lead to a hidden trove of rare art.
Clay joins forces with his long-time friends, Weed Rawlins and Mace Davis, as they seek the treasure. Along with their new cohort, Lucretia Land, they embark on a harrowing journey filled with murder and intrigue. It’s an odyssey that leads them to examine Morse’s paintings for more clues at the Metropolitan Museum in New York, at the National Gallery in Washington, the Yale University’s Art Gallery in New Haven, and finally within historic Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn.
Along the way, they are pursued by Lucretia’s greedy and murderous brother, Malcolm, and his indentured henchmen. Do they find the treasure? Is it worth the loss of life that befalls them?
