The Gears of My Grind: Black Retribution

The Gears of my Grind is a letter to the reader interwoven with sections of poetry. When you allow the word, ‘Gear’, to represent a metaphor, the sections of poetry can then represent congruency, dimension, and intricacy towards overall function and or purpose. The letter represents real life in real time. I’ve written myself into the conversation about the treatment of the black community. The poetry represents life as it comes at you. The use of the word interwoven vs. interjects, interrupts, and intersects: represents the type of interaction that will be required going forward. The, ‘CAPLOCKS’, to represent my laptops temperament, and how sometimes it just be like that. Coincidence or nah how it worked out tho. I’m sayyen.. wont he do it. In the name of Jesus.. Yes he will.
