No More Lemons

No More Lemons is a metaphor that redirects the way in which we view difficulty. No longer are lemons, or tough times, viewed negatively. They are viewed as tests that symbolize progression toward reaching our destiny. Therefore, we can delight in them. Romans 5:3-4 says, We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. The experiences Latosha outlined in this book illustrates the importance of approaching all things with a positive attitude and with complete confidence and trust in God. In life, we are guaranteed to experience difficulties. However, No More Lemons indicates that there’s hope in those difficult times; and because of our hope in God, even the negative has the capability of being viewed as positive.
