This work reflects and encapsulates several years of experience as team-teachers of a course designed to integrate critical theological thinking and preaching. They have developed a unique theological profile that helps the preacher be more aware of not only the broad theological tradition of his church, but also his or her particular appropriation of the approaches and emphases within that tradition. The book is in two parts: the first categorizes the theological profile and the second suggests specific ways that this profile can be used as a tool to become more theologically intentional in his or her preaching.
