Owen and the Solider: Owen and his mum are struggling. It’s just the two of them at home now and they’re finding it difficult to ask for the help they need.

When Owen discovers a crumbling stone soldier in the local park, it feels like he finally has someone he can talk to about his worries. But the town council can’t see how important the soldier is and they want to remove him.

Owen’s scared that he’ll be left on his own again, but can he find the courage he needs to save the soldier before it’s too late?

The House of Clouds: Tabby’s fed up. Fed up with losing her best friend and fed up that Grandad has come to stay. Grandad’s always telling the same old silly, made-up stories. And now Tabby has to walk his smelly dog, Buster, every day after school.

But when one of Tabby’s walks takes her to a lonely hilltop house, she spots something strange going on. So strange she can’t help but mention it to Grandad. He tells her yet another fantastical story and it’s only when tragedy strikes that Tabby wonders … could Grandad’s impossible tale be true?
