This educational book was inspired by the true story of Prince Othawa, a very loved lion who lives in the wild in South Africa. An offspring of the mighty Mapogo and Majingilane Coalitions, the prince was destined for greatness. However, before he would become king, he would face many obstacles including the disappearance of his mother and brother as well as the deaths of his fathers. The prince learn’t many lessons and became strong. He then took control of the Mhangene Pride and eventually cubs were born. He was now a King.

The telling of this story was designed to help children fall in love with lions. It is not only a great story but an educational one and I hope that it can inspire kids to want to care for the wildlife on our beautiful planet.
