The story of Dora, a young girl who lived in a remote coastal village in Buka, in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville, Papua New Guinea. This delightful story, based on a true story, tells how she saw her dream come true. While very familiar with the sea, Dora longed to see an aeroplane. Her Sunday School teacher prayed with her about this. Soon after her literacy teacher arranged a visit to the main town where Dora saw an Air Niugini aeroplane up close for the first time and her dream came true. The story is in honour of Rev. Emily Saeron, one of the first indigenous women to become a minister of the United Church in Bougainville & Solomon Islands. This reader, beautifully illustrated wth full colour drawings, is considered suitable for readers at grade 1-2 level.
