After completing his higher school certificate (HSC), Charlie Murdoch Ash leaves the simplistic and idyllic lifestyle of smalltown Ratatatatutra, relocating to the capital city of Luzestan: Covidorne.

Residing in the inner-city suburb of Hiptoun over the next four years, Charlie encounters a very different and unique environment - one that is quite different to his upbringing.

Although the main purpose of Charlie's relocation was to obtain a bachelor's degree, he is soon exposed to a fascinating world of cultural awakenings, vegan cultism, cycling gangs, niche entertainment, festivals, etc.

Initially, Charlie adapts well to his new environment but as time passes, he begins to feel somewhat trapped between the humble ideologies of a small rural town and the 'dazzling sophistication' of inner-city suburban attitudes and beliefs.

During the third and fourth years of Charlie's undertaking of a bachelor's degree, several 'character building' incidents sparked a significant shift in his general thought processes.

By the end of his final year of tertiary study, Charlie was now facing a decision-making dilemma. Should he start a career in information technology in Covidorne or choose an entirely different option?
