In 2017, newly engaged to be married and working as a portrait photographer, Elyn found a large, unraptured brain aneurysm and had to face major surgery to remove it and it’s threat to her life. Already appreciative of life and it’s beauty, the experience only made Elyn more grateful for each day and the loveliness within it as she faced the terrifying risks of brain surgery and the months-long recovery after. Her home of 19 years, the beautiful city of Sydney, became even more beautiful as she took the slow, painful steps of recovery in this wonderful place. With camera in hand, Elyn set out to capture the areas she loves from dawn to dusk and beyond.
