Altered Origins

Passing through a time regressing chronometric wave, the crew of the Iridium Rainbow awake from stasis with the ship hurtling out of control and unable to avoid crashing into an Earth that has been regressed to a time when the planet was in its most dangerous prehistoric era. With a damaged ship and failing technology, their mission is scrubbed and the crew's priorities change as they are forced to embark on a dangerous journey to retrieve the vital minerals needed to repair their engines. Immediately, their quest turns into a terrifying fight for survival. Faced with a changing environment, the crew must somehow deal with unspeakable dangers as they race to stay ahead of huge, aggressive predators and the next time wave. With their health failing and the number of devastating injuries growing, their chances of making it back to the ship quickly fade. Can they survive? Being hunted, and with limited resources, their fears grow, and the terrified crew's resolve is tested every step of the way as the realization of their hopeless situation causes them to question their ability to succeed. Their only chance is to escape the nightmares and horrors of certain death on the unfamiliar and terrifying prehistoric world. Realizing more is at stake than just their lives, the crew's only hope is that some of them can survive long enough to escape the planet and blindly take the ship on a journey through a dying universe.
