In the 1970s, Lesley McGrath Woodley was the inaugural schools and camps worker for Union Biblica (Scripture Union) in Peru. When she left Peru in 1981, about two hundred children were involved in school and camp activities. She returned to Australia with a sense of abject failure.
In 2006, Lesley was invited to speak at a Union Biblica conference in Lima, Peru. She was astonished by what she discovered.
This book of her recollections and reflections reassures us that when we are committed to serving God wholeheartedly, he works in extraordinary ways, in spite of our weaknesses and failings.
