This is a collection of short stories set in the goldfields of central Victoria in the 1870s. They are pioneering tales of Aboriginal Yurgama Jacobs and his dingo pet Marakorpa.
Yurgama was the resident Trooper in the fictional Victorian town of Tilabrook, where he kept law and order with the aid of his steel-rimmed boomerang.
