I didn’t believe in faeries. Or monsters, talking squirrels and spider-riders for that matter. They were stories; I was certain of it. I was wrong…
All I ever wanted was a family-a brother, sister, mom and dad. I’m sure it’s all any orphan really wants. But sometimes life was unfair, that’s just the way it was. Don’t believe me? What if I told you I was kidnapped by a talking rodent with an attitude problem, snatched by wasp-riding faeries, and thrown in a cell suspended high above a magical forest in a faerie hive? And guess what-that wasn’t the worst of it! My adventure brought me face to face with giant slugs which wanted to dissolve me into goo and drink me like a milkshake. It had me piloting a giant rhinoceros beetle and battling spider-riding beasts.
But most of all, my journey taught me that families come in a variety of sizes-and some live in faerie hives.
