Pearls - Wisdom from the Women of New South Wales

Pearls is a series of intimate, face to face interviews with a broad spectrum of women across NSW. Taking two years to complete, the author and her journalist daughter travelled over 12,000 km criss-crossing the state in search of both remarkable and everyday stories from a vibrant cast of curious, creative and inspirational personalities. From firefighters to strip tease artists, from creatives to regenerative farmers, from authors to astrophysicists, each of these women have made different choices, followed unexpected paths, learnt lessons and nourished those around them. Their stories are a gentle reminder that there's many ways to live a life.
