His relationship with his grandfather is also a ‘key’ factor in the story. This is based on a real life story of a boy who spent time with the school chaplain. There is no specific religious content. Ayjay has a hard time dealing with anger and grief following the separation of his parents followed by the death of one of his grandparents.
