This is the fourth editon of Cricket Walkabout to be published. The first ediIon was published in 1967, with subsequent ediIons released in 1988 and 2005. This latest ediIon features the meticulous research of the original co-authors, the late John Mulvaney and the late Rex Harcourt.

The new edition also features a range of new material, including a foreword by Australian Indigenous Test cricketer Scott Boland. All profits from the book go to support the Harrow Discovery Centre in Victoria's Wimmera region. The HDC is a museum dedicated to the memory of the First XI of 1868.
