Kendra Donovan’s family leaves for a mystery vacation planned by her father. Kendra can’t leave with the rest of the family, but will follow the clues her father provides along the way and will catch up with them the next day. All well and good, until Seymour Severs, her father’s boss, sends word to Kendra that her family perished in a murder/suicide car crash. Kendra’s sixth sense tells he’s lying. How can she prove they are not dead? How can she find her family? Why did Severs lie? She decides that her father, an FBI Agent must be in some kind of trouble or his appearance at wherever he was going would put someone else in danger? Kendra must first find out what kind of trouble he is in and who to avoid before she can begin her search. She takes a grief vacation she goes where she is sure they were heading. She meets old friends who become enemies, is accused of murder, shot at, and run off the road. Her new friend, Brian takes care of her. Her longtime friend, Lenny is shot; Brian is captured and beaten; and Kendra is the only one who can save them all. But can she do it?
