On a warm spring day, in the shelter of an old walnut tree, Rose’s dream finally comes true. She marries her long time love, Aristotle Irwin, and is fully prepared to live happily ever after. But Rose has other dreams…insistent ones, devastating ones. Every night Rose dreams that the world around her is consumed by fire and there is nothing she can do to stop it. Now caught in the whir of starting a new life - complete with a new job, new people and new dreams for the future - Rose finds her attentions inextricably tied to these horrifying nightmares.
