The Odyssey of the Horny Owl

This is the personal story of the actual experiences of four friends who explored the rivers and streams of Florida in a pontoon boat over a period of twenty years. There have been more than 100 excursions and over 4000 pictures taken, the highlights of which are the contents of this book. Their love of adventure, nature and the beauty of the wilderness is reflected in the pictures and logs of their trips. Included are stories and photographs of the beautiful wildlife, unexpected surprises and obstacles that were encountered along the way. Springs, alligators, turtles, manatees, birds and wild flowers are featured. The material is displayed in a whimsical and entertaining fashion, while still being very informative. These chronicles were presented by the Captain and Crew to a live, sold out audience and received rave reviews, which led to publishing of this book.
