A Generation X novel. Based on a series of real events taking place in Alabama, woven into a fictional set of characters. A story of survival. Sometimes the monsters are real. The Devil… is a tale set in rural Alabama, on the lake in the early 80’s, Micki & her friends have a lot to look forward to. Confusion and fear reveal deep questions that demand self-reflection. It was a time of change & everyone struggled to take control of their future & find their place in an ever changing society. Micki tries to gain control of her own life, only to find herself in one bad situation after another. Dreams haunt her restless soul. Resilience and determination may be enough to get her through it all, then again, she might just need luck.
