Friends Help Hearts Heal

Two young boys, Harry and Kyle, write about the power of friendship. When Harry finds out that he will have to have heart surgery, all of his worries and concerns are eased by his friendship with Kyle. Together, they write and illustrate their story starting before the surgery, to after. It shows how friends can truly help hearts heal. It is a testament to an enduring bond, and a celebration of their coming of age. This book, and their book readings are their Bar Mitzvah project. By telling their story, they share their powerful experience of being friends and what that means.
