My Special Tamale

A Wonderful Celebration of Family For the first time a young Hispanic girl joins the grown-ups in the making of traditional tamales. Little Marisol learns the value of family which reflects love, faith in God, honor, strength, diversity, creativity and unity through the unique structure of her family members. Taking part in the holiday tradition of tamale making, the young girl celebrates the message that every family is unique and special. The message this little story offers is the opportunity to see beauty and uniqueness in each and every family and its members and to acknowledge the importance of what it is to embrace and celebrate your part as you explore and define this gift that is family.
