Cliff Shamon is Average Joe, with one exception. At five feet, six inches tall, he weighs 300 pounds. After passing out on a sidewalk, and being mistaken for dead, Cliff decides to lose weight and get physically fit. Cliff faces an onslaught of fitness industry commercialism in his battle to change his appearance and eating habits. Cliff, eventually, finds salvation in an exercise show called Feel the Burn with Pawlo. After losing 150 pounds, Cliff rushes to meet fitness superstar Pawlo Marcolo, to thank him for the role his show played in changing Cliff’s life. Conflict ensues when, after being rudely pushed aside by Pawlo, Cliff decides to get noticed by sneaking into the background of Pawlo’s show. The ordeal reaches its peak when Cliff and Pawlo go head to head in an all out aerobics/spin bike grudge match. Feel The Burn is a comedy and a drama of one man’s battle against obesity, prejudice, and his own inner demons.
