Love, passion, laughter, faith. Estella Wells’ unique sense of humor and ability to capture the essence of her subject merge together into these beautifully written compositions and dedications, that take the reader on an emotional journey and encourages them to explore the most diverse categories of human existence, to ultimately find a truth that resonates with them.

Estella’s life journey has been full of experiences. She was born in Southern California, but attended Cours Secondares Sacre Coeur high school in Dakar, Senegal. After graduating from high school, Estella attended Spelman College as a freshman and graduated from The University of Alabama. She then relocated to Southern California and earned a Master of Arts degree from California Baptist University. She is also the proud mother of Jasmine, Brandon and Nathaniel.

Her poems reflect her burning passion for writing, traveling, empowering, and encouraging others. Writings from the Heart is a blend of homages, reflections, romance, humor and faith that will be especially compelling to readers that are artists at heart, who enjoy play on words and rhythmic cadences of floetry.
