Alone

Sitting in the middle of his classroom, a little boy seems to melt away into the world unnoticed. He is lost, he is lonely, and he feels unseen. He slowly emerges from the lonely place, and we see him start to connect to the world around him. Eventually, he finds the colors, sounds, and love of friendship. His world transforms from being just there to being here and reminds us that sometimes it only takes a moment to notice something. This book was inspired by a truly magical moment that happened in a classroom in Kansas. May we all be noticed and do some noticing ourselves. You never know what it might bring.
