This is a true story based on a ruthless farm owner Stewart Hamilton and his trusted servant Spinach Chigubu who was just as ruthless towards the peasants with a tendency to instigate trouble and tragedies that befell his fellow black peasants during the British Colonial Rule in the then Rhodesia. The story begins with the murder of my grandparents under the hands of Stewart and how my father and his brother survived. The book takes the reader through all the hardships they encountered, the twists and turns, and most of all the unexpected turn of events that landed my father back on the farm with determination to exact his revenge - was he successful ….. what became of his brother?
