Criminally Insane: The Biggest Heist in Florida History
Mark Lyons
Two Florida detectives enjoying the morning on the beach witness a very unusual thing. Birds just drop from the sky after flying through a swarm of bugs. The birds are not the only murder victims in this mystery, as many people lose their lives as the criminals attempt to pull off the biggest heist in history. Mike and Natalie are the only believers in this massive conspiracy and when their friends are taken to provide the last remaining elements in the plot, their return becomes the focus of he investigation. The goal for the detectives is to return their friends, but that rescue and the crimes are so closely intertwined that their success depends on stopping the heist. Undercover operations at a state mental hospital, overcoming paralyzing weapons from alien clad storm troopers at the Milky Way theme park and infiltration of mission control at Cape Canaveral make for a full summer in Florida for these private investigators. Is it possible that a swarm of bugs could really play a role in a story like this? Is this science fiction or science possible? When will your nightmares end? When will mine?
