Raw Prayer Requests were birthed due to the pain I suffered in silence from my current marriage. During one of the lowest moments within my marriage, I decided to invest in reading material that would give me spiritual tools and the permission to fight for my freedom. However, none of the reading material matched my reality or gave what I desired to fuel my fight. Although these books were helpful, I yearned to have examples that confirmed I was not alone in my suffering-ones that provided me with examples that matched my reality and detailed ways to overcome. After many purchases and prayers, I learned that I was not the only one with this desire. Therefore the Raw Prayer Requests platform was launched.
This book retells actual events within my marriage, accompanied by prayers that carried me through many awkward moments. This book was written to display to others like myself; you have permission to remain in this marriage battle to receive God’s promises and regain your freedom to speak.
