His wife called him ‘Nod.’ Now she, his daughter and the majority of the planet are dead. Those that didn’t die are healthier and stronger than ever before. Unfortunately, some of them are rage-filled monsters that want to kill anything alive. Nod isn’t sure he wants to live in this new world, but circumstances keep preventing him from leaving it. While he seems content with a new life and new friends working together to keep everyone safe, he secretly believes he doesn’t deserve to be happy again and plans to leave as soon as possible.
