In 1957, the neighborhood bounded by 92nd and Wallace, on the south side of Chicago, was pretty evenly divided between poor Irish-Catholics and Blacks. They shared a tragic history and dreams for a better future and were separated only by railroad tracks and the color of their skin.Just Us is the story of how two of those lives took dramatically different paths until fate reunited them years later in the gritty steel town of Gary, Indiana.
