All Kings Don’t Live in a Castle: A guide to strengthening the mind of the youth.

This story is about a teenage boy named Christian who goes on an intentional and personal journey to gain wisdom that sets him on a path of self-development. He realizes he has a choice to make between two different worlds and ways of living; however, he doesn’t possess adequate knowledge and skills to make that choice. As he seeks out help from wise people in his neighborhood, including his grandmother, father, and local police officer, he receives invaluable nuggets and learns kingly principles that will shape and mold his mindset about what it will take to become an independent, wise, and successful man. In a city that can be a scary place to live at times–because of cultural division, oppression, social injustice, poverty, and violence-Christian is committed to breaking through social barriers, overcoming societal challenges, becoming an excellent product of his environment, and designing his life the way he wants to live it. After completing his weeklong journey, he accepts that although he was born a king, he does not have to reside in a castle with ornate possessions to live like a king.
