Five chickens are taken for a sled ride by a young girl, but one of the chickens, Goldenpuff, is scared of trying new things. Goldenpuff slowly learns to be brave. In the end she has a great time and can’t wait to try more new activities. This sweet story is told in the form of a poem with endearing watercolor illustrations.
