Kent Stevens: I figured if I was persistent enough, I would eventually wear them down and get my shot at going to Earth. My eighth application did the trick. This time I laid it on pretty thick, completely replacing my previous, somewhat-honest responses with what I assumed they wanted to hear (I pretty much lied) and bingo, I got the official invite. The thing is, I thought I was applying for an adventurous Pure Soul vacation, as a Human on Earth. Now, I’ve found out that Earth is a Pure Soul training ground-not a playground. Probably should have read the fine print…
There are no take-backs on this earthly journey; I can’t just change my mind. I’ll need to accomplish a lifetime goal, if I’m to transition into an eternal Old Soul. That would be a definite upgrade from being a Pure Soul, but that’s just the best-case scenario. Unfortunately, nothing about this has been ‘best-case’ for me. During my pre-transition processing, I’ve learned this will not be my first journey to Earth-it’s my eighth! So, yeah, I’ve had seven previous failures, all conveniently wiped from my memory as part of each human’s veiling process. It’s disconcerting to be told I’m a seven-time loser. What’s up with that?
Prior to transitioning into human form, physical and mental attributes are individually chosen by each Pure Soul, and I’ve splurged on too many high-end choices. They are seductive in their desirability-I mean, who doesn’t want the best possible life experience, right? However, the downside of choosing enticing physical and mental traits is that they come with unforeseen life challenges. Moderation here, is strongly suggested and something I seem to lack. Maybe that’s why I get myself into such odd situations-and right now, I’m in serious trouble…
