Listen to your gut; it won’t steer you wrong.

I knew that was going to happen!

Something told me not to go that way.

If I only knew what to do.

These sayings, and more, are uttered by millions daily. We want to make the right choices and the best decisions for our lives. We’re not always sure what right or best is, however.

As our relationship with Christ deepens, we began to realize it is not our gut steering us. And no, we are not psychic. Instead it has always been the leading of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of the Lord desires to provide us with insight as to what may be on the horizon. Learning to be in-tune and receptive to His leading is key to living a full and blessed life.

Speak Lord, I’m Learning to Listen is a compilation of true, short stories from my life. Each one illustrates a way the Spirit of the Lord attempts to help us navigate the issues of everyday life.
