This book collects the work of 115 Architecture students in the first of two required Environmental Control System courses at Cal Poly Pomona University. The project introduced students to the design of zero net energy buildings with energy modeling as an important part of the process. Students selected one of five well-known mid-century homes in Los Angeles, analyzed it and then implemented design measures to achieve zero net energy and zero net carbon. Projects are organized by house and included in this publication.
