When I went to say goodbye to my sister, she gave me small prayer cards and a little token she’d gotten in the mail from a Catholic charity. Her tears revealed she felt the momentousness of my journey: it now felt like a real pilgrimage. I treasured most a card with Pope Francis’s picture on it on which was printed, I want to ask a favor. I want to ask you to walk together, and take care of one another. Doing just that, Sarah and her husband, Peter, walk the 500 plus miles from St Jean Pied de Port to Santiago in September and October 2015. Along the way they meet characters in their fellow pilgrims and locals. They enjoy good food and wine. They push their bodies beyond what they’d ever done before. Moving from wondering what on earth they were doing on the Camino to not wanting it to end, follow Sarah and Peter from their first steps to their last in Walk Together and Take Care of One Another: our time on the Camino Frances by Sarah Brault.
