Cannan Sommer; A Life Unlived is the true story of a mother’s battle with miscarriage, infertility, and full-term stillbirth of her daughter. It takes the reader through her personal journey of giving birth, grief, and hope and life on the other side of tragedy. It was written with the hope that it will help others who experience this tragedy, including the family members, friends, pastors, church members, funeral directors, counselors, and others who may not know what to say or do to help the mother and father grieve their loss. An epilogue expresses what the mother and her family are doing many years post stillbirth and the wonderful stories of the effect a tiny baby had for good on others.
