In the first seven years of growing up in Port-au-Prince Haiti, Ahava experienced both abuse and poverty before coming to the United States of America at the age of eight years old. By the fourth grade she learned to master the art of reading and from then on has had a love for words. Though this collection of her poems have very little bits and pieces of her story during childhood, it is still talking about her life and her knowledge as a Hebrew woman who learned about God in late 2015 at the age of twenty years old. Being a Hebrew is fun but it is also a daily fight and with this book Ahava paints a picture of how her life has been in the twenty-six years of trying to walk with God and eventually growing up before him.
