Joseph is a young boy who goes to the beach with his family. They travel by car across the U.S. from northern Indiana to sunny Florida. When Joseph goes to the beach he encounters creatures who live in the sea. The creatures are quite peculiar, one has two claws and moves with a hard shell, and another is soft like jelly with eight legs.
