Farewell Berlin

Sonny, a small time peddler who does a little of this, a little of that in the old Jewish Quarter of Berlin, matures in the waning days of the Weimar Republic. Alone in the world after the death of his parents, he joins a smuggling ring, bringing contraband goods into Germany from Belgium. Hitler’s rise to power changes everything. Then, through an alarming turn of events, the ring disbands. Yet, another unlikely turn unites like-minded men and women. Farewell Berlin is a story of abandonment, commitment, and hope in a crumbling world.
