The Crazy Time

This is a play about men trying to understand women, and how they never will. Miles Gladstone, a man in his mid-fifties, has left his wife of thirty years and married a young woman half his age. Six months later his new wife leaves him, his business partner has screwed him, and his first wife, who is looking better than ever, wants to buy his modern apartment for her and her extremely young boyfriend. Struck by his first wife’s fabulous appearance and new vivacious attitude, Miles offers to go back to her. He’s shocked that she’s not interested.
