Special Education is a complex topic within the public school system. It helps disabled students learn through a services, academic assistance, and adaptations. The help comes through a document called an Individual Education Plan (also known as the I.E.P.) or a Section 504. The document that they recieve is dependent upon their individual academic needs based on how their disability effects them. An experienced parent educator with the disabled community will examine the I.E.P. with you.
