Au moment de partir, il faut toujours utiliser toutes sortes de manoeuvres pour le convaincre de quitter le siege du conducteur. Lorsque la decapotable prend la route, Mercy se laisse ballotter les oreilles dans le vent. Il aime se chauffer le groin au soleil. Mais un jour, la balade en voiture des Watson prend une tournure inattendue. En manque d'emotions fortes, la voisine originale des Watson, Baby Lincoln, prend place sur le siege arriere de la voiture. Il s'ensuit alors une confusion totale… et c'est bientot le rayonnant Mercy qui se retrouve au volant!
