The Effects of Family History on Patient Health Behavior: An Examination of Youths With Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes

Abstract: Youths with Type I or Type 2 diabetes were assessed to determine how their knowledge of family member’s diabetes care and related complication might influence the youths’ diabetes health behavior and beliefs about their own risk for developing complications.
