The Spectroscopy of Molecular Ions

Molecular ions play important roles in chemical and physical processes in the laboratory, in the atmosphere, and in interstellar gas clouds. Many molecular ions also exhibit unusual, but fundamental aspects of molecular structure. The detection and study of the spectra of molecular ions is the subject of this book which provides a summary of the new techniques developed in the last decade that have led to spectacular progress in the field.
