Ngati Fruit Salad is a bilingual English and Te Reo Maori sing-a-long book for preschoolers. This song is written by Loopy Tunes, who are a sister duo based in Christchurch that run live, interactive music and movement sessions for preschoolers and their caregivers. This is the third book in their Rainbow Children’s Book Collection.
The vision for Loopy Tunes has always been to provide a space that offers musical sessions as an affordable option for families within a local community. Their music sessions have tamariki dancing and singing along to some of their original waiata, as well as some well-known tunes, including Pepi Mako ( Baby Shark in te reo Maori).
Loopy Tunes are excited to bring you the third instalment of the Rainbow Children’s Book Collection, Te Waiata Koa/The Happy Song . This has been a collaborative effort with Christchurch artist and illustrator, Rosina Cater.
