Remember, Re-connect, Listen and Live is all about helping others to empower themselves. The author shares her own story, told through her eyes. As children we have no control over circumstances. As adults we start to have choice. We can choose if we wish to stay a victim to our circumstances, or we can change the damage that was bestowed upon us as a child. Children believe in what they are told, they are very trusting. If what they are told is destructive and negative all the time, then that is what they believe. This is where as adults we need to change all those belief systems that have been embedded into our psyche. We have two choices, to either come from Love or from Fear. The majority of people come from Fear, without even realising it. We can’t change anything if we are not aware, so people first need to realise what kind of mind chatter they have going on within themselves. Then they can choose if they want to change it or not. It is always up to us to change, if we want to. We all have choice, no matter what our circumstances are; we can change if we truly want to. We can no longer blame others for all the hurt that may have been bestowed on us. We need to stop all the generational abuse that has continued throughout the centuries. How what happened to her as a child paved the way to transform her life. Not knowingly at first, and through many circumstances how she let go of being a victim and started to empower herself. At first it was all quite strange and new, but over time she started to realise the bigger picture of life. How we are the captain of our own ship, we are in charge of ourselves, no one else. We must stop believing others know better. The answers are within each of us, it is accessible through remembering the connection we have with the universe, and there we can heal ourselves. When we look inside of us, we find our true selves. That is pure; it is of love and light. So to help change come about, remember, re-connect, listen and live, you are truly the master of your own destiny. Go within, believe, trust, and all is possible. The future belongs to the next generation.
