Biology of Grasshoppers

This volume presents diverse biological aspects of grasshoppers - a group of insects which includes locusts and which is of major importance in research and pest control. Advances in study made possible by new methods and technological development - such as electron microscopy, radar studies of insect movements and modern methods in population biology - are emphasized, as are recent developments in ecophysiology.
