Feminist Review: Issue 37

First published in 1979, Feminist Review is the UK’s leading socialist feminist journal. Produced three times a year by a London based editorial collective, the journal publishes and reviews new work by women and offers a platform for debate on current issues in feminism. This issue focuses on women’s attitudes to religion and the attitude of religions to women. Wide ranging articles cover cover Christianity, Islam and Judaism, explore responses ranging from the Feminist Spiriturality Movement to the struggle against fundamentalism, and examine the relationship between religion, national identity and racism.
